Haven’t noticed I was gone? It was down to preparing posts before I was gone to keep you fashionistas entertained. Well I’m back from a fabulous week in London!! And when I mean fabulous I mean fashion crazy. I bought loads of great stuff, some from a lovely vintage store and others from the highstreet. I’m tellling you the British got style!
In other news, Fashion Paparazzis is going to be joined by a new fashionista who will be posting fashion updates. She goes by the name of Chiara and is mega fierce.

Remember when I said EVERY star in Hollywood has atleast worn a Hervé Léger dress to an event before. Here’s the proof. English model Agyness Deyn spotted this look at the CFDA Fashion Awards. Known for her quirky style, Agyness teams up this beautiful mini pink/silver sequined dress with a leather jacket and black boots. She makes her style her own and manages to look effortlessly sexy, modern and cool. That’s why she gets my outfit of the week award.
Lady Gaga donned this strapless electric blue bodycon dress during her promotion tour in the UK earlier this year for her single ‘Let’s Dance.’ The colour of this dress is absolutely divine and fits her perfectly. Why, Whitney, Why?
Need I say anything? Usually one of THE fashionistas in New York, The City star Whitney Port dared to walk in public in THAT outfit. I was shocked to the core, when I saw this picture and refused to believe it was her. After being in denial, I decided to analyse her outfit.
Starting off with the shorts: They are very unflattering to her slim shape. Her top is very ill-fitting too and let’s not even get into the dull colours. Embrace looking casual Whit but not this way! And those sneakers, ugh. There are actually great designed sneakers out there. Someone desperately needs some fashion therapy quick.
Positive: Sunglasses.
Negative: Everything else.
Conclusion: Better luck next time, Whit! You still have it in ya!

It’s another battle of the gowns. This time it’s Desperate Housewives latina superstar Eva Longoria versus 90210 young actress Jessica Stroup. Jessica Stroup wore this dress to the Badgley Mischka Fall 2009 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Tent in Bryant Park, NYC while Eva Longoria opted to attend the premiere of The Perfect Game during the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Mexico.
They both wore an altered version of the original Badgley Mischka gown. The gown is white, has a feathered skirt and a jeweled bodice. Both look absolutely gorgeous but a choice has to be made. Who wore it best?

If you want to make a statement: Go Red. Black and white combinations can look good together but sometimes they do tend to be abit dull if everything is too matchy matchy. The general idea is to get a third colour to mix with both and the safest best you can take is red blends: pink, coral & red. Those combinations look amazing if chosen right and will steal all attention.
This outfit in particular is a white/black/coral mix. Don’t overload the outfit though. If you want bracelets, no necklace and take statement earrings. If you want a necklace, like in this case, don’t wear bangles if you’re going to wear a statement bag. It will distract from the bag and you might look abit desperate. If you want to look sexy, chic and demure then the outfit below is your new friend.
In this case don’t forget that the hair has to compliment the outfit. If you have long hair, tease it back for a more elegant look, like Anna did below and if you have shorter hair the bob look is perfect as shown by Rihanna below:

What is it about gold? Gold is one of my three favourite colors and I’ll tell you why. It’s mysterious and rare. It reminds me of the sun, of hapiness and elegance. There is something very positive about the color and it makes you look radiant (even without being knocked up!).

This week it comes from Victoria’s Secret. If you think Victoria’s Secret is only good at designing lingerie, then you are about to be proved wrong. You’ld think this costs a fortune looking at it but quite the contrary. This smart grey multicolour bag costs $79.99 after being reduced from original price $140.00. The soft neutral colours, ballsy patterns and most importantly the size (practicality points!) do it for me. What do you think?

Gosh now where do we start? Drew Barrymore has always held a soft spot with me and she surely has had some winners in the past but either she had a major bust-up with her stylist or nostalgia struck her because what the hell was she thinking when she put this outfit together? She was attending a Green Day concert with boyfriend Justin Long. Now listen up ladies, it doesn’t mean if you’re visiting a rock concert or any type of festival for that matter, you have an excuse to look bad! Quite the contrary: There are so so many things one can wear, which can make you look dressed down but fantastic. Believe it Drew!
Oh well let’s analyse where it all went wrong. Starting off with the positive: Hmm. Well atleast she was trying to take same older pieces and do vintage. But let me tell you dear, a blast in the past isn’t the best idea if you end up looking like THAT. This sack she’s wearing actually has a cute pattern but the cut, just no! The scarf takes this ‘interesting’ outfit to another level of hideous.
Conclusion: We still love ya Drew. Just give us a reason to next time!
