Jessica Alba looked extraordinary today as she wore a black Valentino couture gown to the premiere of "Machete" at the 2010 Venice Film Festival. She completed her look by wearing striking accessories inluding a red ring and diamanté encrusted hoop earrings. Finishing off her look she wore some seriously fierce black Ferragamo gladiators.

Earlier this week she was spotted wearing another Valentino dress (from the Fall 2010 collection) while attending the Uomo Vogue Celebrates Quentin Tarantino: 67th Venice Film Festival.

Having the title of "Sexiest Woman Alive" seems to hold no importance in the fashion industry as designers have yet to send Christina Hendricks a dress in her actual size. Hendricks, who is a US size 12 complains that celebrities are only sent samples sizes which usually are in a size 0 or 2, which means she is naturally excluded. 'They only lend out a size 0 or 2. So I'm still struggling for someone to give me a darn dress'. The redhead actress currently stars in US hit drama Mad Men and plays sexy secretary Joan Holloway. Her curvaceous figure and pin up Hollywood looks lead her to be named "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire magazine earlier this year.

E! host Giuliana Rancic battles it out with The Hill's star Lo Bosworth. Both wear the same understated silk cream and jersey halter dress by Tadashi Shoji. Both make it work. But who edges it out?
